Join us for an exhilarating evening of rhythm, energy, and musical creativity at the University of Texas at Arlington's Percussion Ensemble Concert! This captivating event promises to deliver a unique auditory experience that will leave you mesmerized and tapping your feet. The UTA Percussion Ensemble, under the direction of Dr. Andrew Eldridge, is one of the key components of the percussion curriculum at UTA.The performance will be held in Irons Recital Hall, FA105, located in the South Section of the Fine Arts Building.The doors will open approximately 30 minutes before the performance time.Be aware that no food or drink, aside from bottled water, is allowed in the recital hall.Parking is available in the West Campus Garage, and ADA parking is available at the meters on Nedderman Drive in front of Texas Hall. The Inaugural Annual Juried UTA Student Exhibition at the Arlington Museum of Art is on view from November 8, 2024- January 5, 2025.Juried by the Dallas Contemporary Associate Curator Emily Edwards, this exhibition features works by current graduate and undergraduate students and recent alumni.Featured works are by: Alia Almosawi, Christina Childress, Lisa Clavton, Chris Cravton, Paula Currie, Vy Dang, David Galvan Cruz, Xochitl Garcia, Shang Gou, Lucas Gustafson, Audrey Hatter, Evelyn Kennedy, America Luna, Yasmine Muhammad, Dorian Parkhurst, Michelle Perez, Evelia Sanchez, Phoenix Sanders, Emelie Stenhammar, Lauren Tallman, Emma Valenzuela, Phoenix Warren, and Grace Witkinson.The exhibition opening reception will be Thursday, Nov. 7, 6-8 p.m.

Do you like Space? Do you like Maps? How about maps of space?! UTA Special Collections is proud to present a new exhibition titled Cosmic Cartography . Featuring maps and charts dating from 1548 to 2024, the exhibit explores humanity's desire to explain our understanding of the universe through maps. In the exhibit, you will see maps that explore the model of the universe - from the ancients who believed in an Earth-centered system to Copernicus who put the Sun at the center, and beyond; maps of our Solar System and planetary bodies; and maps that explore Constellations and the Zodiac.Giveaways will be available while supplies last!The exhibit is located on the sixth floor of Central Library in Special Collections. It is open Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

The Department of Global Engagement and Office of Study Abroad present the See the Unseen Photo Gallery Exhibition, which features photography submitted by our very own UTA students.
