Join the UTA libraries in celebrating Open Education Week from March 3 - 7, 2025.



Join the Open Educational Resources and Digital Scholarship Department of UTA Libraries for an interactive, come-and-go event designed to help faculty and students explore, evaluate, and adopt Open Educational Resources (OER). In just 30-45 minutes, participants will browse featured OER, assess their adaptability, and explore customization options through hands-on stations—all while enjoying light refreshments and snacks. Whether adopting, adapting, or creating, this event provides a hands-on way to engage with open education at UTA.

Explore & Adopt: Browse 10 featured OER across disciplines.Evaluate & Modify: Assess accessibility and make real-time edits.Find a Perfect Match: Search OER repositories with guidance.Creation Station: Conceptualize new OER projects.Check-Out & Advocacy: Learn about the Open Education Student Advocacy Group and next steps. Drop in, discover an OER, and take the next step in transforming course materials—all at your own pace!
