- Sep 1712:00 PMGilman Scholarship Information SessionThe U.S. Department of State’s Benjamin A. Gilman International Scholarship Program supports students of limited financial means to study or intern abroad. The Gilman Program is a competitive, merit-based scholarship, with awards of up to $5,000. To be eligible for the Gilman Program, applicants must be receiving a Federal Pell Grant during the time of application or provide proof that they will be receiving a Pell Grant during the term of their study abroad program or internship.During this session, the UTA Study Abroad Office will share information about the application process, and the support available to help you through the process. In collaboration with the UTA Honors College, additional workshops will be offered to help you complete your application. Come by to learn how the Gilman can support your study abroad adventure!

- Sep 1712:00 PMVisiting Scholars Speaker SeriesThe Department of Modern Languages and U.S.-Russia Partnership for Global Solutions presents the Fall 2025 Visiting Scholars Speaker Series! We will have two visiting faculty and a group of five visiting university scholars from Russia presenting on various topics on Russian culture. There will be a total of three presentations, occuring September 3, 10, and 17 in Trimble Hall 200. Refreshments will be served!
