Bluebonnet Ballroom, University Center

The UTA Jazz Festival takes place on March 21-22 in the Rosebud Theatre and the Bluebonnet Ballroom of the University Center.



Middle school and high school bands perform and compete in the Rosebud Theatre. These performances are open to the public.



Friday, March 21,

12 p.m,: Clinic ~ "Music interaction and Musicianship" by UTA Avant-garde combo

4 p.m.: Concert/Award Ceremony hosted by the UTA Jazz Ensemble in the Rosebud Theatre. The concert is free and open to the public.



Saturday, March 22,

12 p,m,: Clinic ~ "Q&A session with The Maynard All-Stars ©"

7pm: Concert/Award Ceremony hosted by the UTA Jazz Orchestra with guest artists of The Maynard All-Stars © (Wayne Bergeron, Steve Wiest, Frank Green, Denis DeBlasio, Brian Mulholland, and Stockton Helbing) in the Bluebonnet Ballroom. Tickets will be available to the public via UTA Tickets.
