- May 59:00 AMPuppy YogaIn celebration of Mental Health Awareness Month, the UTA School of Social Work is partnering with Cowtown Friends of Fort Worth Animal Care and Control for a special Puppy Yoga session on Monday, May 5, from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Social Work/College of Nursing and Health Innovation Smart Hospital Courtyard.The event will feature fully vaccinated, adoptable shelter pups and include yoga and free playtime. Supplies and the inside play pen area are available for the first 24 participants. Attendees can bring their own mat and participate inside or outside of the play pen!Spots are open to students, faculty, and staff on a first-come, first-served basis.

The spring 2025 exhibition features the work of 28 BFA students demonstrating a wide variety of skills in concentrations including painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, glass, interactive media, cinematic arts, and visual communication design.Dr. August Jordan Davis, chair of the Department of Art and Art History and director of The Gallery at UTA stated, "Every semester it is a joy to welcome students, family, friends and the public to celebrate the creative accomplishments of our graduating BFA students. As we showcase their work across visual communication design, the cinematic arts and studio arts, we help them mark the start of their professional careers as artists and designers. We look forward to you enjoying this show of their excellent artwork."
