The Honors Research Symposium (HRS) allows honors students to present the results from months of hard work and dedication in conducting research in various disciplines. Students will present posters over their Capstone Project to fulfill the honors bachelor’s degree requirements.HRS is open to all faculty, staff, students, alumni, and the UTA community.

The Pilates Method is a full-body conditioning program that develops deep abdominal and back strength, together with increased flexibiity and ease of movement. This class is aimed at "core stability," designed to work on lengthening muscles to help tone and strengthen muscles, using breathing to enhance relaxation.

Jeff Campbell, Director of Core Facilities, will present an overview of UTA's shared resources (instrumentation, equipment, facilities, and services) in the university's research infrastructure. The presentation will cover available resources, their location, how to access them, and who to contact. It will also include an overview of the Core Facilities Program, which the VPRI Office launched last year to support and improve Core Facilities across the campus.Eileen Clements, Interim Executive Director of UTARI, will provide an overview of the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI) including current research thrusts, partnerships, and opportunities for collaboration. UTARI is an applied research organization committed to bridging the gap between academic discovery and real-world application (https://utari.uta.edu/). The faulty and research scientists of UTARI actively collaborate across UTA’s various colleges, fostering interdisciplinary research and innovation. The institute engages with universities, national laboratories, and industry partners throughout North Texas and across the nation, driving impactful research initiatives.This workshop is open to any UTA faculty, staff, or students interested in research at UTA.
