- DescriptionCome see a demonstration of a medieval trebuchet in action, hosted by the Department of History and Geography. History students who built the trebuchet will launch pumpkins from noon to 1 p.m. at the Intramural field (just east of Fielder Rd).

- Nov 56:00 PMGraduate Writing Workshop: Literature ReviewsThe UTA Writing Center is offering a graduate student workshop on writing/revising Literature Reviews on Wednesday, November 5, at 6 p.m. virtually (online). In this workshop, an experienced graduate consultant will discuss the purpose of a literature review in scholarly work, the structure and components of a literature review, and the differences between a literature review and annotated bibliographies. In addition, the graduate consultant will provide best practices on synthesizing sources that cluster around a position or issue, transitioning between positions, and using sources effectively. - Nov 6All dayCelebrating Native American Heritage MonthIn celebration of Native American Heritage Month, UTA Special Collections will have a mini-exhibit on display showcasing items in the collection relating to the surrounding Indigenous community. Special Collections invites the UTA community to learn more and view the mini-exhibit during the Central Library’s open hours, starting Nov. 1 and continuing through Nov. 30. The exhibit is located just outside the doors of Special Collections in the Atrium, on the sixth floor of the Central Library.
