UT Arlington basketball, tennis, baseball and softball to compete this week

With Western Athletic Conference tournaments approaching for UTA basketball, other spring sports are in full action. Men’s and women’s tennis face intrastate rivals, while softball takes on Utah Tech University for a three-game series. Here is the schedule for Tuesday through March 10. Women’s basketball The Lady Mavericks look to close out strong in their last regular season game against California Baptist University at 2 p.m. Saturday at College Park Center. The team will celebrate Senior Day pregame. Men’s basketball On the road for its final regular season game, the men’s basketball team will face CBU at 7 p.m. Saturday. The game will be available to stream live on ESPN+. Softball After an undefeated performance in the Maverick Invitational, the softball team will host a three-game series against Utah Tech University at Allan Saxe Field. It begins with a doubleheader at 3 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. Friday, with the final game at noon Saturday. All games will be available to stream on ESPN+. Baseball UTA baseball will look to bounce back from two losses this weekend and host Sam Houston State University at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Clay Gould Ballpark. The team will then travel to University of Louisiana Monroe for a three-game series starting at 6 p.m. Friday. Saturday’s game is scheduled for 2 p.m., and Sunday’s game will begin at 1 p.m. All games will be available to stream on ESPN+. Women’s golf The women’s golf team will conclude the West Texas Classic Tuesday in Abilene, Texas. It will then begin the Riverbend Intercollegiate on March 10 in Houston. Women’s tennis The women’s tennis team heads north to face University of North Texas at 2 p.m. Wednesday. The team will remain on the road to play University of Central Arkansas at 11 a.m. Friday. Men’s tennis Riding a four-game win streak, the men’s tennis team will head to Houston to face Rice University at 10 a.m. Saturday. Women’s basketball

Women’s golf
