Día de los Muertos Celebration

- DescriptionJoin us for a meaningful and festive Día de los Muertos celebration, where we come together as a community to honor and remember our loved ones. We will have a beautifully decorated community altar (ofrenda) where guests are welcome to bring photos of their loved ones to add and share in remembrance. Enjoy free food, including delicious tamales, traditional desserts, and more. There will be fun and engaging activities for all ages, including a Catrina and Catrín contest, traditional music and dance performances, and much more.
This is a free, family friendly event open to everyone, so bring your memories, your spirit, and your love for culture as we celebrate life and the ones who came before us.
The Wesley Foundation is hosting this event in collaboration with several other student organizations including Latin American Student Organization, Association of Latino Professionals For America, Association of Mexican American Students, University Catholic Community, La Sociedad Hispanica, Public Relations Student Society of America, and Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers.
