Moon Tree One-Year Anniversary Celebration

- DescriptionThe UTA Planetarium and College of Science will host a celebration of the one-year anniversary of the planting of the Moon Tree on Tuesday, April 29. There will be a presentation at 2 p.m. in the Planetarium, followed by a free Planetarium show at 2:30 p.m. and refreshments and activities at 3 p.m. in the CPB atrium. The Moon Tree was grown from a seed which orbited the moon on a NASA spacecraft as part of the Artemis I mission. The sweetgum seedling was planted outside the Planetarium on April 25, 2024.
