UTA Core Facilities and the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI)

    Jeff Campbell, Director of Core Facilities, will present an overview of UTA's shared resources (instrumentation, equipment, facilities, and services) in the university's research infrastructure. The presentation will cover available resources, their location, how to access them, and who to contact. It will also include an overview of the Core Facilities Program, which the VPRI Office launched last year to support and improve Core Facilities across the campus.



    Eileen Clements, Interim Executive Director of UTARI, will provide an overview of the University of Texas at Arlington Research Institute (UTARI) including current research thrusts, partnerships, and opportunities for collaboration. UTARI is an applied research organization committed to bridging the gap between academic discovery and real-world application (https://utari.uta.edu/). The faulty and research scientists of UTARI actively collaborate across UTA’s various colleges, fostering interdisciplinary research and innovation. The institute engages with universities, national laboratories, and industry partners throughout North Texas and across the nation, driving impactful research initiatives.



    This workshop is open to any UTA faculty, staff, or students interested in research at UTA. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees.
