In this session, you'll get an overview of:PreAward: Assistance with identifying funding opportunities and submitting competitive proposals.Award Setup: Guidance through the critical process of establishing awards once funding is secured.PostAward: Support for managing awards and subawards in compliance with sponsor and institutional requirements, including budget oversight, prior approvals, and final closeout.Whether you're new to sponsored research or looking to streamline your current processes, this session will provide valuable insights and resources to help you succeed. We look forward to seeing you there!This workshop is open to any UTA faculty, staff or students interested in Proposal Budgeting at UTA. Lunch will be provided for in-person attendees. Check out the UTA Planetarium's 2025 Concert Series, a blend of art and science.Join for an evening of food, drinks, and live music in the planetarium dome, featuring artist David Slowing from Austin, Texas. Appetizers are included with the price of admission. A reception with food and drinks starts at 6 p.m. in the Planetarium Atrium and the concert starts at 7 p.m.David Slowing is a producer and musician currently residing in Austin, TX. He makes ambient, evolving, and melodic compositions with the use of modular synthesizers, machine learning, algorithmic composition, sampling, and acoustics instruments, often around a theme or concept.
